Visionaries Acquire Land for High
School Expansion
Visionaries acquired further 10 Bigha land for the construction of High School with large playground and playpen area for the little ones. The students will be provided training in several extra curricular activities like music , singing , sports, drawing etc.
Visionaries have adopted village parasmoni at sundarbans where they run a free school ROTARY KISHLAY SISHU SHIKHA NIKETAN, having 250+ students from class infant to IX. The club provides free midday meal, school uniform, bags, exercise books, stationeries for all students. Apart from the regular curriculum the students are also given classes in drawing , painting, dance and mus ic . Separate toilets for boys and girls is also provided. Playground of approx. 9000 sq. ft. was also acclaimed area wherein a playpen with swing and slide have been installed. The club also runs as Adult Education Center NAVADIGHANTA in afternoon at the school premises which has now 35 students.
Visionaries on the community services front have done various projects throughout the year at village parasmoni at sundarbans. Visionaries have provided 350 watt solar power bank which illuminate the school building and streets along the play ground , tube wells and the jetty. A borewell over 1000ft. deep for shallow irrigation was installed for benefit of farmers and supply of potable water was arranged for the surrounding four villages, by lying of water delivery pipelines across these villages. we should also conduct health camp , eye camp , Blood Donation camp from time to time in village parasmoni. Distributions of sewing machines to the villagers for providing self employment and by-cycles to girls students for their day to day commute was given by the vision aries.

Rotary Visionaries Public School (RVPS)
Located in the remote village of Santigachi, Sunderbans, RVPS is a beacon of hope for communities where basic education was once a distant dream. What began as a humble effort under a tree has blossomed into a fully equipped school serving nearly 500 children.
Sustainability & Growth: We are currently pursuing affiliation with the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and have recently planted over 330 fruit-bearing trees on the premises to promote environmental care and generate future income for the school.
“Choti Si Asha” Campaign: We believe every child deserves the chance to learn. For just ₹9,600 a year (₹800/month), sponsors can cover a child’s complete tuition, books, uniforms, and daily meals.
Dignity in Aging
Rotary Ramthakur Briddhabas
A dedicated old age home providing shelter, essential care, and a loving community to elderly residents. We regularly organize grooming sessions, health check-ups, and distribute necessities like blankets and mosquito nets.
Current Focus: To meet growing needs, we are currently executing Phase 2 of our construction, aiming to raise ₹50 Lakh to expand our capacity and build a permanent safe haven for vulnerable elders.
Community Integration: We are also developing the surrounding area by building a ghat on the nearby waterbody, planting trees, and developing a park for local residents.
The Elixir of Life
Safe Drinking Water Project
In the deepest pockets of the Sunderbans (such as Purba Gopalgunge and Kultali), families face severe shortages of safe drinking water. We are changing this narrative by sinking deep tube wells directly in these communities.
Our Impact: We have successfully inaugurated over 200 wells, drastically reducing the distance villagers must travel for clean water. We are currently seeking corporate partners to adopt and fund our next target of 100 additional wells at ₹2.5 Lakh per well.
Healing Hands
Grassroots Healthcare Interventions
MCH Medical Camps: We run free, fortnightly Mother and Child health camps at Subhashgram, examining hundreds of patients monthly and providing free prescribed medicines (operating cost: ₹60,000 per camp).
Life-Changing Surgeries: In collaboration with Prem Milan Nursing Home, we sponsor completely free Hernia and Hydrocele surgeries for underprivileged patients, covering all surgical, medicinal, and post-operative meal costs.
